About Jerry LongSince 2015 I have been traveling the United States while working in the rodeo arena. I work as a Cameraperson/Production Tech for the Professional Bull Riders on both the PBR Teams Tour and the Premiere Unleash the Beast Tour. Those shows are on PlutoTV's Ridepass and CBS Sports Network and CBS Network channels.
All that work takes place on the weekends, so during the weekdays I travel like a high plains drifter, looking for beautiful vistas, undiscovered, backroads scenery and local USAFL Clubs. I enjoy visiting clubs as I travel the USA for my main work. Don't be surprised if I show up at a practice. In 2015 I attended my first USAFL Nationals and have been hooked ever since. I always wanted to shoot action sports so my stumbling upon footy was the perfect match. I am originally from Boise, Idaho where I was introduced to footy. I learned the basics of the game but never played an organized game to my lament. Since starting in 1980 in television my career has taken me many places with many more places to visit in the future. In 2022 I met my wife Ana we live mostly in Guatemala but travel extensively to the US for work and family. Thanks for following along and enjoy the view. |
